English Travel Centre (ETC) is acting as a representative agent for various Swiss tour operators and affiliate agreements with various foreign Tour operators, hotels, excursions, travel related services.ETC can not be held liable for any alterations, acts or omissions on part of those providing services listed in brochures or via the website or any other services incidental thereto.

ETC does not invoice their clients directly. All invoicing, administration, control of tickets and documentation is organised by the appropriate tour operators.

Bookings made via ETC'S website is a direct contract/booking between the VISITOR of ETC'S website and the tour operator/travel service linked to ETC. ETC holds no responsibility for the booking. It is imperative that the client must read the booking conditions in the brochure or website before making a definite booking. A definite booking is confirmation that the client has understood and agrees with ETC'S and/or the operating Tour Operator's conditions.


Passports & Visas: Clients are responsible for all visas, permits, necessary health requirements, and any other documents as required by laws, regulations and orders of the countries visited.

All passengers travelling in Europe require a Passport, valid for 6 months beyond the conclusion of their trip, and with appropriate visas. Some tours enter a country more than once, therefore, multiple-entry visas may be required for some European countries. Please contact the applicable Government authorities to get the necessary travel information. It is the responsibility of each passenger to have a valid Passport and necessary visas, as well as to comply with entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited.

The Operators and/or their employees and their agents are not responsible for passport, visa requirements, entry, health or other requirements of the countries visited or for any loss sustained by you for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.




THE TOUR OPERATORS PROVIDING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THROUGH OUR WEBSITE OR BOOKING ENGINE ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND ARE NOT OUR AGENTS. Reservations and payment should be made through ETC as early as possible to guarantee the exact departure and tour of your choice. Final payment is due four weeks prior to departure.

Cancellation:

Full refund if cancellation is made 22 or more days prior to departure. A booking fee of CHF 50.- to cover communication and administrative expenses will be charged in any case. A cancellation fee of 10% is due for cancellation between 22 and 15 days before departure. For cancellations between 14 and 8 days a fee of 25% is due. For cancellations between 7 and 3 days a fee of 50% is due.For cancellations between 3 and 0 days / no show, No refund.

Alterations:

Changes to the original booking entail expenses which have to be passed on. The appropriate fee being CHF 50.- per alteration.

Responsibility:

The responsibility of the tour operator and/or their suppliers are limited. Tour operator is responsible for providing the services outlined and according to Swiss law.

All services are subject to the laws of the country in which they are provided and to the conditions specified by the relevant suppliers. In the absence of negligence of the Swiss coach operator organising the tour., the participant waives any claim against the operator for any injury, damage, loss, delay, irregularity (consequential or otherwise) or for any other cause to person or property which may occur in connection with such tour services or through the act of default of any company or person rendering any of the services included in the arrangements of the tour or otherwise in connection therewith or of any hotel proprietor or employee. The issuance of tickets, vouchers and/or coupons shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions. The tour operator and/or their suppliers can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, defaults, or overbooking by hotels. sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger. Baggage and small articles (coats, etc.) are at the owner's risk throughout the tour unless insured. The right is retained to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of the tour or to cancel or alter the tour. The passengers contract in use by the companies when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser.
